On Monday, GobiMin (TSX: V.GMN, Stock Forum) shares climbed 55% to 68 cents after the micro cap miner said it has entered into two revocable framework agreements with Xinjiang Xinxin Mining Industry Co. to dispose of its three nickel-copper mining properties in China. It is estimated that GobiMin will receive net proceeds of $87.5 million before Chinese tax upon completion of the transaction.

As well, shares of Rockwell Diamonds (TSX: T.RDI, Stock Forum) sank 37% to 13 cents as Pala Investments Holdings reported that it is withdrawing and not proceeding with its all-cash offer to holders of the common shares of Rockwell. Pala has determined that a number of the conditions to the bid are incapable of being satisfied before the expiry time and has, therefore, withdrawn the bid at this time in order to provide shareholders with certainty as to the status of the offer.

In Tuesday trading, Gammon Gold (TSX: T.GAM, Stock Forum) shares powered 23% higher to $4.56 after the miner announced that the mitigation strategies implemented at Ocampo in Mexico resulted in a third-quarter total gold production improvement of 29% to 34,096 ounces. Total silver production rose 23% to 1,372,123 ounces, while gold equivalent production surged 22% to 57,521 ounces. Gammon also reported the discovery of a new underground vein, San Amado, at the Ocampo mine, which included 3.5 metres true thickness of 30.57 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 2,126 g/t silver.

Also, shares of Electrovaya (TSX: T.EFL, Stock Forum) shot up 46% to 40 cents as the manufacturer of Lithium Ion SuperPolymer battery systems said it has signed three Memorandum of Understandings in Beijing, China, in the areas of electric cars, trucks and manufacturing equipment.

Wednesday’s market action saw shares of Pure Nickel (TSX: T.NIC, Stock Forum) soar 43% to 10 cents as the micro cap miner said it has entered into an exploration and option agreement with ITOCHU Corporation, a multi-billion dollar Japanese conglomerate. The agreement provides ITOCHU with the right to earn up to a 75% interest in Pure Nickel's 720-square-kilometre MAN Alaska property by investing up to $40 million in further exploration and development of the property.

In addition, Hudson Resources (TSX: V.HUD, Stock Forum) shares powered 52% higher to 19 cents after the junior explorer said Teck Cominco has agreed to become an equity investor in Hudson by converting a $2 million bridge loan into an equity investment for a total of five million shares, which equates to a value of 40 cents per share. This will give Teck a 14.1% interest in the company.

On Thursday, Kent Exploration (TSX: V.KEX, Stock Forum) shares climbed as much as 33% before closing up 11% to five cents after the micro cap miner said it has received 24 Coal Prospecting Permits from Saskatchewan Energy Resources, representing a permitted area of about 18,462 hectares. The permitted area consists of two townships located immediately east of, and approximately six miles from, the Adamas coal discovery, where North American Gem (TSX: V.NAG, Stock Forum) has reported a five-meter coal intersection grading sub-bituminous A quality.

As well, shares of Typhoon Exploration (TSX: V.TOO, Stock Forum) surged 33% to two cents as the junior explorer reported results of the winter 2008 drill campaign on its 100% owned Fayolle property in Quebec, which included 19 metres of 10.84 grams per tonne (g/t) gold.

And, in Friday trading,shares of InNexus Biotechnology (TSX: V.IXS, Stock Forum) shot up 40% to 10.5 cents as the drug development firm announced the development of a new antibody product from its DXL(TM) platform technology, DXL1218 (EGFR), for the prospective treatment of colorectal cancer. The company also said it intends to issue 10% unsecured convertible debentures for maximum proceeds of $1.25 million.

Finally, Alamos Gold (TSX: T.AGI, Stock Forum) reported third-quarter earnings of $8.3 million, or nine cents a share, compared with $0.1 million, or break even on a per-share basis, during the same period last year. Revenue surged 139% to a record $37.2 million. Its shares added 14% to $5.75.
