Sage Gold (TSX: V.SGX, Stock Forum) reported Thursday that it has received additional channel and grab sample results from Vein 2 and Vein 4 of the Golden Extension in the Beardmore-Geraldton Gold Camp in Ontario.

Last month, the company reported channel results from Vein 4 of 93.72 g Au/T over a channel width of 0.4 metres. Additional results from Vein 4 include a channel sample of 11.15 g Au/T over 0.3 metres.

Other highlights include 9.51 g Au/T, over 0.20 metres in Vein 4, as well as a grab sample of 259.99 g Au/T, and channel samples of 8.21 g Au/T and 7.29 g Au/T over 0.50 metres in Vein 2.

“To date, Vein 4 is by far the strongest mineralized quartz vein emanating from Sage's initial discovery. Meanwhile, SAGE's prospecting team discovered a new vein, Vein 9; 300 metres to the west-northwest of Vein 4,” says the company, adding that it will report assays from Vein 9 shortly.

…we definitely need some drilling to confirm the values obtained from these samples. Hopefully, we will see some drilling this late summer... or maybe even earlier. From what SGX has discovered to-date, I personally believe the stock is UNDER-VALUED... it should be trading about 10 cents. Keep the NR's coming and we will be there VERY SOON ! Let's hope that the assays from vien #9 will also be as good.... and if that's the case, we could actually hear a NR about a drill program sooner than later... IMO[sic]

Shares of the company were up 7.7% to seven cents Thursday.
