Stockhouse Canadian Small and Micro-cap Stock Report for Tuesday, November 9, 2010
TORONTO (SHfn) – BonTerra Resources (TSX: V.BTR, Stock Forum) shares jumped 19% to 28 cents on Tuesday after the micro cap explorer reported the receipt of its rushed assays from its ongoing drill program on the Eastern Extension property in Quebec, which included assays as high as 77.8 grams per tonne (g/t) gold.
As well, shares of Cream Minerals (TSX: V.CMA, Stock Forum) moved up 36% to 15 cents as the junior miner announced that Minco Silver has removed the due diligence condition to its offer to purchase an initial 50% interest in Cream's Nuevo Milenio project in Mexico and has an option to acquire a further 20% interest by incurring an additional $5 million in work expenditures.
Brigus Gold (TSX: T.BRD, Stock Forum), meanwhile, said it intends to eliminate 100% of its forward gold sales contract obligations effective January 2011 and will benefit from selling 100% of its Black Fox Mine gold production at spot prices going forward. Brigus stock popped as much as 15% to $1.94.
And, Aldridge Minerals (TSX: V.AGM, Stock Forum) reported results of its 2010 diamond drill program on the Yenipazar gold/silver/copper/lead/zinc volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) project in Turkey, which included 68 metres of 3.92 g/t gold and 37.0 g/t silver. Aldridge shares shot up 22% to $1.28.
