TORONTO (SHfn) – Huldra Silver (TSX: V.HDA, Stock Forum) shares climbed 22% to 82 cents on Monday after the micro cap explorer said it has received complete assay results from an 17 hole HQ sized diamond drill program completed in September 2010, on its Treasure Mountain Project, located three hours east of Vancouver, British Columbia, which included 13736 grams/tonne (g/t) silver in Hole Number 8 from 14.19 metres to 14.26 metres.

As well, shares of Xinergy (TSX: T.XRG, Stock Forum) shot up 17% to $2.58 as the Central Appalachian coal producer announced that it expects a strong year in 2011, with production on its existing properties ranging from 2.8 to 3.0 million tons with contracted sales of 1,348,000 tons or 48-54% of forecasted production at an average sales price of $98.16/ton. The company also expects production in 2012 to be in the 3.5 to 4.0 million range on its existing projects alone.

Pebble Creek Mining (TSX: V.PEB, Stock Forum), meanwhile, reported that the government's Advisory Group on Forests has recommended final approval of "Forest Clearance" for a pre-approved 30-year Mining Lease on the company's Askot deposit in Uttarakhand, India. Askot is a massive sulphide deposit containing copper, zinc, lead, silver and gold. Pebble Creek stock popped 60% to 16 cents.

Shares of ECU Silver Mining (TSX: T.ECU, Stock Forum) rose 14% to $1.37 after the junior miner said it has discovered a "mantos-type" mineralized zone in the new underground development at the Chicago mine in Mexico, which included 350 g/t silver, 6.40% lead and 12.13% zinc over a width of 3.0 meters.

And, Prophecy Resource (TSX: V.PCY, Stock Forum) Monday announced that recent expansion drilling on its Lynn Lake Nickel Sulphide Project in Manitoba has defined new discovery zones. Prophecy shares added as much as 14% at $1.08.
