On Monday, ATAC Resources (TSX: V.ATC , Stock Forum) shares climbed 14% to $6.93 after the miner reported that it has made what it called a “significant” silver-lead-zinc discovery at the Ocelot target within the Rau Trend in the western portion of its 100% owned Rackla Gold Project in the Yukon, which included 145.43 grams per tonne (g/t) silver, 3.36% lead, and 11.65% zinc across 41.72 metres.

As well, shares of 01 Communique Laboratory (TSX: T.ONE, Stock Forum) shot up 22% to 71 cents as the provider of remote access services said that it and Wi-LAN Inc. (TSX: T.WIN, Stock Forum) have entered into an agreement that will see WiLAN assist 01 Communique in the licensing of 01 Communique's patents related to remote access technology for a number of specified licensees.

In Tuesday trading, EurOmax Resources (TSX: V.EOX, Stock Forum) shares jumped 17% to 28 cents after the micro cap explorer reported results from the first series of holes from the 2011 drill program at its 100% controlled Trun Gold Project in Bulgaria, which included 87 meters at 2.14 grams per tonne (g/t) gold.

Also, shares of Electrovaya (TSX: T.EFL, Stock Forum) moved up 11% to $1.86 as the provider of lithium batteries and battery systems said it has signed a contract to supply Chrysler with Lithium Ion SuperPolymer battery systems for 25 Town and Country minivans that will be part of a demonstration fleet of Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicles that Chrysler Group LLC has developed in partnership with the United States Department of Energy.

Wednesday’s market action saw shares of CanAm Coal (TSX: V.COE, Stock Forum) surge 13% to 18 cents after the micro cap miner reported coal sales for the first quarter ending April 30, 2011. Coal sales at the Powhatan mine in Alabama tripled over the comparable period in the previous fiscal year and were 30,655 tons in the quarter as compared to 9,950 tons in Q1 of fiscal 2011, or an increase of 20,705 tons. Coal sales were up 16,022 tons from the previous quarter, or more than double.

In addition, shares of Breakwater Resources (TSX: T.BWR, Stock Forum) gained 43% to $7.42 as the miner said it has entered into a binding agreement pursuant to which Nyrstar NV has agreed to make an all-cash offer to acquire all of the issued and outstanding shares of Breakwater by way of a friendly take-over bid. Breakwater shareholders will receive $7 in cash per common share, representing a total value of approximately $619 million to be paid by Nyrstar, as well as a special dividend of 50 cents in cash per common share to be declared payable to Breakwater shareholders of record on the business day immediately prior to the take-up of shares by Nyrstar pursuant to the offer.

On Thursday, Aura Silver Resources (TSX: V.AUU, Stock Forum) shares powered 15% higher to 23 cents after the micro cap explorer released preliminary observations on its ongoing 4,000-metre drill program at its Greyhound property in Nunavut. Several holes intersected broad zones of disseminated sulfide associated with strong silicification, each typically from 25 to 30 metres in core length. Locally, up to 2% arsenopyrite (a key indicator for gold), 4% sphalerite (zinc), minor chalcopyrite (copper) and traces of galena (lead, possibly associated with silver) have been recorded (all assays are pending).

As well, shares of Creso Exploration (TSX: V.CXT, Stock Forum) slid 23% to 17 cents as the junior miner announced the notification received from Hunter Dickinson Resources Ltd. that they will not proceed with the joint venture transaction as defined in the Letter Agreement announced on April 29, 2011.

And, in Friday trading, Mazorro Resources (TSX: V.MZO, Stock Forum) shares climbed 41% to 38 cents after micro cap miner and Adventure Gold (TSX: V.AGE, Stock Forum) reported gold results on Thursday from the first two holes of its ongoing surface drilling program on the Lapaska Gold Property in Quebec, which included 1.2 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 156.9 metres. Mazorro shares gained 23% on Thursday.

Finally, shares of Bridgewater Systems (TSX: T.BWC, Stock Forum) rose 28% to $8.10 as the provider of intelligent broadband controls said it has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Amdocs Limited (NYSE: DOX, Stock Forum) through a plan of arrangement for $8.20 per share in cash, valuing the company at approximately $211 million.
