Stockhouse Canadian Small and Micro-cap Stock Report for Friday, July 22, 2011
TORONTO (SHfn) – BE Resources (TSX: V.BER, Stock Forum) shares skyrocketed 782% to 75 cents on Friday after the micro cap explorer reported the remaining assay results from its drilling program to date at its Warm Springs project in New Mexico, which included 242 feet of 75.51% light rare earth elements (cerium, europium, lanthanum, neodymium, praseodymium, samarium) as oxides and 24.49% heavy rare earth elements (gadolinium, terbium, dysprosium, holmium, erbium, thulium, ytterbium, lutetium, yttrium) as oxides.
As well, shares of Titan Logix (TSX: V.TLA, Stock Forum) added 47% at 25 cents as the technology industrial instrumentation and controls company announced third-quarter record sales of $3,012,969, a 94% increase from the same period last year. Net earnings and comprehensive earnings was $350,116 this period compared to a net loss of $84,663 a year earlier.
Riva Gold (TSX: V.RIV, Stock Forum), meanwhile, reported results from its mapping, trenching and diamond drill program on its Honey Camp Property in Guyana. The company has determined that Honey Camp requires more detailed work to complete a correlation between structures and/or lithological controls observed in the significant assay values of the surface trench results relative to the narrower and lower assay values returned from the diamond drill core intersections. Riva Gold stock slid 26% to 85 cents.
And, ISee3D (TSX: V.ICT, Stock Forum) late Thursday said it is collaborating with a manufacturer of webcams and personal peripherals to develop a single lens 3D webcam prototype. The purpose of the collaboration is to develop a webcam that can capture high definition 3D video through a single lens in real time, and demonstrate both a quality and price advantage over dual camera 3D capture options. ISee3D shares moved up 6% to 26 cents on Friday.
