Top Bullboards post:

“TRR is a sure fire takeover target itself…it has 4.2 million ounces (cut; meaning really it has more) at Cote Lake + 0.5 million ounces at Chester that have been estimated in the inferred category by a reputable engineering firm. The cote Lake inferred estimate is now out of date. TRR has extended the deposit at least 40% more at similar grades and the deposit is open. Geophysics suggests quite a bit more to go. Jennings estimates 8 million ounces…quite possibly it will turn out to be more. This is a large deposit that will TRR's share price rise. Think of Detour Gold or Osisko. As regards, GLD, TRR has suggested it will increase its offer. It needs to. Right now no GLD shareholder will tender except for the locked up shareholders. GLD shareholder's quite frankly can get more by selling into the market (TRR's offer is worth 29 cents versus 38-39 in the market). TRR needs news to boost its share price, and I'm thinking exploration news is just around the corner, as well as increase its offer. Maybe throw in some cash to avoid dilution of TRR's shareholder's.” From letsgetready on the TrelawneyMining and Exploration (TSX: V.TRR, Stock Forum) board.
