Stock markets move up in mid-morning

The TSX composite was marginally higher, rising 19.28 points to 12,441.99 in mid-morning trading on Wednesday. The Dow rose 43.21 to 13,607.85, while NASDAQ gained 4.01 to 3,181.81.
