Miranda Gold (TSX: V.MAD, Stock Forum) Friday said it has received a notice of termination of the exploration agreement with option to joint venture with Agnico-Eagle (USA) Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Agnico-Eagle Mines (TSX: T.AEM, Stock Forum), on Miranda’s Ester Dome project located in the Fairbanks mining district of Alaska, this according to a company news release.

The company said Agnico drill tested the large soil anomaly in two campaigns and Miranda feels “the concept has been adequately tested” and thus it has subsequently terminated the underlying lease with Range Minerals.
