Questerre Energy tests second Alberta well

Questerre Energy Corp. (TSX: T.QEC,Stock Forum) said its second Montney horizontal well tested at 1,800 barrels of oil per day in west central Alberta.

The well, located in the Kakwa-Resthaven area, was successfully completed with a 14-stage water-based nitrogen foam fracture stimulation in the 1,230 metre horizontal section.

According to the Questerre Energy press release, production tubing is currently being installed and the well will be tied into the third party processing plant by early next year.

Questerre an independent energy company focused on non-conventional oil and gas resources.

On Monday morning, Questerre was trading at $0.75 a share. The company has a market cap of $173.1 million, based on 230.8 million shares outstanding. The 52-week high and low was $1.07 and $0.59 respectively.
