Black Iron set to release Ukraine feasibility study

Black Iron Inc. (TSX: T.BKI, Stock Forum) said Thursday it plans to release the initial results of a bankable feasibility study for its wholly-owned Shymanivske iron ore project in Kryviy Rih, Ukraine before markets open on November 15, 2012.

The study represents the fourth significant milestone delivered on time by Black Iron since the company’s initial public offering in March 2011, Black Iron said in a press release.

Up 11% to 20 cents on Thursday, Black Iron has a market cap of $27.9 million, based on 139.6 million shares outstanding. The 52-week range is 74 cents and 13 cents.
