Uranium One posts 15% production increase, record sales

Uranium One Inc. (TSX: T.UUU, Stock Forum) on Wednesday said its uranium production in 2012 rose 15% from a year ago to 12.2 million pounds.

The company also posted record revenue of $562.9 million last year from the sale of 11.7 million pounds at an average realized price of $48 per pound, Uranium One said in a press release.

Shares of Uranium One rose 1.1% to $2.79 on Wednesday, leaving the company with a market cap of $2.7 billion, based on 957.2 million shares outstanding. The 52-week range is $3.10 and $1.78.
