PetroBakken Energy Ltd. (TSX: T.PBN, Stock Forum) said it will host its Annual General and Special Meeting for shareholders on May 22, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. (MDT) at the Telus Convention Centre (MacLeod Hall D) in Calgary, Alberta.
According to the PetroBakken Enegry press release, shareholders will be voting on a number of items at the meeting, including a proposed change of the company's name to Lightstream Resources Ltd.
If approved, the name change will take effect immediately, while the stock symbol will be changed within three business days to LTS.
The name change will have no impact on day-to-day business activity or share ownership.
PetroBakkenis an oil and gas exploration and production company combining light oil Bakken and Cardium resource plays with conventional light oil assets, delivering industry leading operating netbacks, strong cash flows and production growth.
On Friday, PetroBakken rose 3% and was trading at $8.21 a share. The company had a market cap of $1.9 billion, based on 193.8 million shares outstanding. The 52-week high and low was $15.44 and $7.51 respectively.
