5N Plus to open chemicals facility in South Korea

5N Plus Inc. (TSX: T.VNP, Stock Forum) Tuesday announced that it will invest in a new gallium chemicals facility to be located in South Korea, this according to a company news release.

The company said this initiative is being taken to meet the growing demand for gallium in LED manufacturing in North East Asia. The new facility should be operational before the end of 2013.

5N Plus is a producer of specialty metal and chemical products.
