Zephyr Minerals (TSX: V.ZFR, Stock Forum) Wednesday reported results for the final 6 holes of a 13 hole diamond drill program on the Windy Gulch zone at its Dawson gold project in Colorado, this according to a company news release.

Results included 20.4 g/t gold over 4.7 metres.

The company added that the Windy Gulch zone is being targeted for a low cost near surface mining opportunity in advance of developing the nearby larger underground Dawson zone.

"Following the resource estimate expected to be completed by the end of Q2-2013, an economic assessment will be undertaken to further evaluate the near term development potential of the project," said Zephyr Minerals President and CEO Lorne Komperdo.
