Clifton Star Resources reports gold resource surge

Clifton Star Resources (TSX: V.CFO, Stock Forum) Friday announced an update resource estimate for its Duparquet Project in Quebec, this according to a company news release.

Its total Measured and Indicated gold resource has increased 29% to 3.11 million ounces, while its total Inferred resource now amounts to 1.44 million ounces.

The company added that it has started a Pre-Feasibility Study on the Duparquet Project that will incorporate the results of this new resource estimate as well as the results of the Pilot Plant tests recently completed at SGS Lakefield.
