Virginia Mines enters into exploration alliance with Altius Minerals

Virginia Mines (TSX: T.VGQ, Stock Forum) Tuesday announced the signing of a strategic alliance with Altius Minerals (TSX: T.ALS, Stock Forum) to cooperate in exploring the Labrador Trough, this according to a company news release.

Virginia and Altius will share their collective experience and databases, co-fund exploration programs, and jointly seek partners for any new projects that are created in the Labrador Trough.

A total budget of about $600,000 will be allocated to the 2013 campaign.
