Freegold Ventures (TSX: T.FVL, Stock Forum) Monday announced that drilling and geophysics are underway on its Golden Summit Project in Alaska, this according to a company news release.

The company said drilling will be focused initially on upgrading the classification of the current NI 43-101 resource.

So far in 2013, drilling has expanded the resource with an increase of 9% in both categories.
