TAD Mineral Exploration Inc. (TSX: V.TJ, Stock Forum) shares climbed 13% to 4.5 cents on volume of more than 3.8 million shares Thursday after the company announced that it has acquired additional acreage prospective for hydrothermal graphite in Ontario.

This new prospect, the 'Constance Lake West' hydrothermal graphite prospect, borders land held by Zenyatta Ventures Ltd. (TSX: V.ZEN, Stock Forum).

Management plans to mobilize crews onto the property shortly.
