BioExx Specialty Proteins (TSX: T.BXI, Stock Forum) Tuesday said it has engaged Ernst & Young Orenda Corporate Finance to undertake a process to explore a sale of the company.

The company added that it hopes to sell itself “while sufficient financial resources exist to undertake such a process.”

BioExx is focused on the separation of oil and high-value proteins from oilseeds.
