On December 6, the junior oil explorer announced that it had completed the acquisition of Muskwa Resources Ltd., a junior oil and gas company. According to the press release, the closing of the acquisition of Muskwa represents a significant milestone for Zodiac, providing diversity to the portfolio which now includes a resource play in California, access to the emerging Duvernay shale play in Alberta and conventional targets in Montana.
