North American Palladium (T.PDL) up 20% on Lac des Iles drilling

North American Palladium Ltd. (TSX: T.PDL, Stock Forum) released results of drilling from the second half of a 2013 underground and surface program at its Lac des Iles palladium mine property in Northern Ontario.

The company said surface drilling on the upper Roby Zone northeast extension target extended a near-surface part of the zone, the company said in a press release. Highlights included 2.44 grams per tonne of palladium over 16 metres.

North American Palladium shares rose 20% to 56 cents on Monday, leaving a market cap of $111.4 million, based on 197.1 million shares outstanding. The 52-week range is $1.97 and 39.5 cents.
