Enbridge Inc. (TSX: T.ENB, Stock Forum) has announced a deal to invest US$200 million in a 110-megawatt wind project in Texas.

Renewable Energy Systems Americas Inc. began construction of the Keechi wind project last month and expects it to be comissioned in early 2015.

The project will deliver electricity into the Electric Reliability Council of Texas Inc. market, under a 20-year power purchase agreement with Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ: MSFT, Stock Forum), Enbridge said in a press release.

Enbridge shares eased 0.74% to $45.75, leaving a market cap of $38 billion, based on 828.4 million shares outstanding. The 52-week range is $49.19 and $41.71.
