Here are the most active stocks on Thursday mid-morning on the TSX and TSX Venture Exchange.

On Thursday, the top TSX mover was Lundin Mining Corp. (TSX: T.LUN, Stock Forum). It rose 3.8% and was trading at $5.15 on volume of 4.3 million shares.

On January 23, the base metals mining company reported fourth quarter and full-year 2013 production results.

Advantage Oil & Gas Ltd. (TSX: T.AAV, Stock Forum) was the second most active stock on the TSX. The stock was 1.9% and trading at $4.20 on volume of 2.9 million.

On February 4, Longview Oil Corp. (TSX: T.LNV, Stock Forum) and Advantage announced that Advantage entered into an agreement relating to the sale of 21.2 million common shares of Longview owned by Advantage to a syndicate of underwriters at a price of $4.45 per share for gross proceeds of $94.1 million. Closing of the offering is anticipated to be on or about Feb. 26, 2014.

Sparton Resources Inc. (TSX: V.SRI, Stock Forum) was the volume leader on the TSX Venture Exchange. It soared 100% and was trading at $0.01 on volume of 3.5 million.

The exploration and development company had no related news to explain the high volume of trading.

The second most active stock on the TSX Venture was Stroud Resources Ltd. (TSX: V.SDR, Stock Forum) It lost 50% and was trading at $0.005 after 3.4 million shares changed hands.
