Canamex Resources Corp. (TSX: V.CSQ, Stock Forum) said it has dug up more gold while drilling at the Bruner Gold Project in Nye County, Nevada.

The company said reverse circulation drilling at the northeast end of the historic resource area has intersected gold mineralization near the surface. Of particular interest, the company said, is a shallow high grade intercept in hold B-1444, which has intersected 1.5 metres from 6.1 to 7.6 metres, grading 14.4 grams per tonne gold.

Upon re-assaying from a larger (1,000 gm) pulp returned 29 grams per tonne gold. This suggests there is particularate gold in this intercept, the company said in a press release.

Canamax shares were unchanged at 12.5 cents on Friday, leaving a market cap of 129.3 million shares outstanding. The 52-week range is 25 cents and 0.05 cents.
