Fundamental Applications (CSE: FUN, Stock Forum) made a sizable splash in the market today when the company announced that its first application, Serum™, was ready for download on the iTunes Store.

According to the news release, the groundbreaking anonymous mobile chat app enables users to pose questions to their own personal networks and receive absolutely honest responses from anyone engaged in the thread. Those responding also have the ability to do so anonymously.

Users creating the conversations can also remain anonymous, and are able to share pictures and other files for anonymous feedback originating from their personal network on topics anywhere from relationships to fashion advice.

The app is geared for the millennial demographic and differentiates itself from other anonymous chat apps by its focus on group conversations categorized by topic ensuring users are always able to completely engage their social circles.

Company CEO, Justin Rasekh, commented on the milestone, “We are excited to give our users the ability to communicate with each other in a unique and safe way.”

He went on to illustrate, “Serum™ enables its users to keep multiple conversations, or threads, so they can come back and revisit older conversations at any time.”

And summed up, “Serum enables people to truly express to others how they actually feel, within the privacy of their own personal network.”

Fundamental Applications was in the news recently when the Vancouver-based anonymous mobile app developer announced the appointment of co-founder Julian Ing, as Director.

Shares jumped 29.63% on the news to $0.35 per share.

Currently there are 14.1m outstanding shares with a market cap of $4.9 million.

Fundmental is smartly managed with a proven tech team and a groundbreaking product to lead off its pipeline. If Serum is adopted like I think it will, there will be plenty of room left for valuation growth. Investors should take note of this incredible Canadian tech opportunity while it still resides in the realm of retail.

FULL DISCLOSURE: Fundamental Applications is a Stockhouse Publishing client.
