Clearford Water Systems (TSX: V.CLI, Forum) pushed forward in their 2015 agenda when the company announced today that it had commenced the installation of Clearford One™ to service the Fetherston Mobile Home Park located in North Grenville, Ontario.

According to the news release, the system is expected to collect and treat sanitary sewage for 46 permanent residences.

The company will also pick up the existing potable water treatment system which includes the UV purification by the Hallett® system made by Clearford subsidiary UV Pure Technologies based out of Toronto.

The $1.0 million system is designed, financed, installed and operated by Clearford Water Utility (Fetherston) under a 30-yr Service Agreement with Fetherston Mobile Home Park Association where the Association has agreed to pay the fixed rate of $221.24 plus HST per month per residence.

The system is anticipated to go into operation before year end 2015.

The release also noted that the Clearford Pay For Performance™ delivery model is available for municipalities in Ontario as announced in January 2015.

Clearford President and CEO, Kevin Loiselle, commented, “Clearford One™ provides this community with wastewater management service that is affordable for residents while providing environmental performance superior to conventional systems.”

He then summed up, “We believe that Clearford One™ and the Pay For Performance™ delivery model will allow many communities in Ontario to meet wastewater management needs without being burdened by debt and with full life cycle service charges significantly lower than the cost of conventional systems.”

Clearford Water Systems was in the news recently when the Ottawa, Ontario-based company announced closing a $1.5 million common share offering three days ago.

Shares were up 8.89% on the news to $0.49 per share.

Currently there are 81.1m outstanding shares with a market cap of $39.7 million.

FULL DISCLOSURE: Clearford Water Systems is a Stockhouse Publishing client.
