Dunnedin Ventures Inc. (TSX: V.DVI, OTCQB: OCPFF, Forum) announced today that it has located a new gold-bearing greenstone belt at its Kahuna Diamond Project. The Company has sampled gold-in-till counts which include pristine gold grains. This implies an underlying bedrock source for the gold.

A detailed mapping of gold grain counts can be found in the diagram below. The gold belt has been identified along 40 kilometers, directly adjacent to Agnico Eagle Mines Ltd.’s Meliadine gold project. A strong association has already been identified between gold-in-tills and bedrock gold zones at Meliadine. Further information can be found here.

Dunnedin was recently in the news earlier this month when it announced commercial-sized diamonds recovered from its Notch kimberlite deposit.

The Company has 76 million shares outstanding and a market cap of $19.9 million.
