Monarques Gold Corporation (

Forum) reported yesterday its latest assay results on its Croinor Gold deposit, located 70 km east of Val D’Or, Quebec. All results have now been released except for the final two drill holes in the Gold Bug area.
Highlights from the latest assays include Hole CR-16-515. It intercepted two intervals of high-grade gold, including 6.74 g/t Au over 2.1 meters (including 24.7 g/t over 0.5 meters) and 11.91 g/t Au over 2.8 meters (including 46.6 g/t Au over 0.5 meters). The intercepts occurred at shallow depths, at approximately 133 and 150 meters below the surface, respectively.
The Company is preparing to launch a new, 10,000-meter drill program, with the focus on the Croinor Gold deposit, and building upon the high-grade intercepts of gold identified in the 2016 drill program. Further information can be found

Monarques was recently in the news last month when it announced
intercepting 8.41 g/t Au over 25 meters at the Croinor Gold deposit.
