Diamond miner reports latest haul

Dunnedin Ventures Inc. (TSX: V.DVI, OTCQB: OCPFF, Forum) today reported today that a 144.44 kg kimberlite sample has returned 13 commercial-sized stones. The yield represents the first diamond recovery from the Company’s Kahuna Kimberlite deposit. The sample grade registered at 2.32 carats per tonne. The largest diamond was a 0.12 carat clear and colourless stone.

Dunnedin has previously released an Inferred Resource and targets for further exploration for the Kahuna kimberlite deposit. Most of the diamonds recovered from the Kahuna sample were clear and colourless. Further information can be found here.

Dunnedin was recently in the news in January when it reported the recovery of high-quality commercial diamonds from its Notch Kimberlite deposit.

The Company has 76 million shares outstanding and a market cap of $24.1 million.
