Silvercorp raises dividend after posting $43.7 million profit

Silvercorp Metals Inc. (TSX: SVM, NYSE MKT: SVM, Forum) has raised its semi-annual dividend by making the payment in U.S. funds rather than Canadian funds.

The increase comes after Silvercorp posted its financial and operating results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2017. The company reported a net profit of $43.7 million or 26 cents a share in fiscal 2017.
