Alaska Hydro retains ERM, Tahltan for archaeological review

Alaska Hydro Corp. (TSX: V.AKH, ALKHF, Forum) said Wednesday it has awarded a contract to Rescan Tahltan Environmental Consultants Ltd. (RTEC) for an Archaeological Overview Assessment of its More Creek Hydroelectric Project and Forrest Kerr Diversion Project sites.

RTEC is a 50/50 joint venture of ERM Consultants Canada Ltd. and Tahltan National Development Corp.

More Creek flows into the Iskut River approximately 230 kilometres north of the town of Stewart in northwestern British Columbia.

Alaska Hydro was in the news recently when the company said it had engaged Golder Associates Ltd. to prepare a Dam Geotechnical Prefeasibility Design for the company’s More Creek Hydroelectric Power Project.
