Alexandria Minerals Corporation (TSX-V:AZX, OTCQB:ALXDF, Forum) announced Tuesday that they have drilled 52.83 g/t of gold after drilling 4.55 meters at their Orenada Zone 4 operation.

The results came from 10 shallow in-fill holes and confirms that there is a presence and continuity of gold mineralization at the shallow depths of Zone 4.

In a news release, Eric Owens, President and CEO of Alexandria, said that they have made one of their highest assays yet at Zone 4 of 366 g/t of gold over 0.65m. He added that they are planning a wider-scale, multi-rig drill program in 2018, expanding both the number of drill rigs as well as the target area.

An updated resource estimate is expected in the first quarter of 2018.

More information can be found here.

The Company was recently in the news in October when they announced more high grade drill results from Orenada 4.
