Berkwood Resources Ltd. (

Forum) said Friday it has completed the Phase 3 definition drilling at its 100%-owned Lac Gueret South Project in Quebec.
The nine-hole program targeted Zone 1 and was designed to constrain the southwestern and southern margins of mineralization, and to probe aspects of the structural (fold) model being developed for western Zone 1.
Drilling continued to intersect substantial graphite, with all nine holes hitting graphite and eight of the holes returning significant intercepts of graphite.

Berkwood was also in the news on Tuesday when it said that according to data compiled by Markets and Markets, the global market for Graphite is projected to reach $29.05 by 2022 at a CAGR of 5.2 per cent from 2017 to 2022.
Berkwood is targeting airborne and ground conductive anomalies at Lac Gueret South’s Zone 1 location as part of this initial program, where two distinct electromagnetic conductors appear to occur over a two kilometre strike length.
