For every kilogram of legal cannabis that was consumed in Canada in 2017, nearly eight kilograms of the plant was waste, according to market research published on Thursday highlighting Micron Waste Technologies Inc. (CSE: MWM,OTCQB: MICWF, Forum). The article pointed to Micron’s industrial-grade Cannavore cannabis waste system with Aurora Cannabis (TSE:ACB) and the U.S. biotech patent for its commercial biological waste treatment formulation.

Micron's U.S. patent was also announced Thursdaywhich is an advanced bio-process that allows organisms to biodegrade organics inside its patented industrial-grade Cannavore cannabis and food waste digester units.
