Fresh from a regular summer break, one of the mining industry’s favorite recurring conferences returns this weekend. The Metals Investor Forum regularly sees some of the most promising companies, prominent analysts, and trusted investors gather in Downtown Vancouver.

This month’s event at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia comes at an interesting time for the market. Gold prices have surged past US $1500 this summer, and uncertainties in global markets have many investors looking to see which companies will stand to gain.

To make sure our readers stay up-to-date on the industry, Stockhouse will also be on-hand at the event. We’ll learn from experts on the state of the market and check in on up-and-coming companies that investors should keep their eyes on.

Companies that present at the Metals Investor Forum are vetted by one of the renowned newsletter writers in attendance, including Eric Coffin from HRA Advisories, Gwen Preston from Resource Maven Gwen Preston, and Jordan Roy-Byrne from The Daily Gold.

A glance at the Exhibitor list for this edition of the conference promises a wide gamut of investment opportunities. Some of the attendees that catch our eye include Great Bear ResourcesLtd. (TSX-V:GBR), Trilogy Metals Inc. (NYSE:TMQ), Osino Resources Corp. (TSX-V:OSI), and Kore Mining Ltd. (TSX-V:KORE).

Make sure to let us know which exhibitors you’re most interested in as well. The Metals Investor Forum kicks off on Friday, and registration to attend is still open. If you can’t attend, be sure to check out Stockhouse after the conference to catch up on everything you missed.

FULL DISCLOSURE: Osino Resources Corp. and Kore Mining Ltd. are clients of Stockhouse Publishing.
