Click to enlargeAfter more than 15 months since cannabis was legalized in Canada, and while 2019 anticipated sales fell short of most forecasts, 2020 looks be in a much better position to succeed.

New research out today from Mintel, shows that the Canadian cannabis market not only has a significant number of users but potential users as well – almost six in 10 Canadians are currently using and/or interested in using cannabis. What's more, over a quarter of all consumers say they’ve used cannabis in the first six months of legalization – October 2018 to March 2019 – and nearly a third of non-cannabis users say they’re 'open to trying it'.
