Click to enlargeAether Catalyst Solutions Inc. (CSE: ATHR, Forum) announced on Wednesday that it is launching a development program to target the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions from small motors. Though small, these devices are still responsible for considerable volumes of urban air pollution, which causes significant amounts of smog and greenhouse gas emissions. ATHR’s technology could also reduce greenhouse gas emissions from gasoline powered small motors from generator sets, leaf blowers to lawn mowers.

Focused on providing cost reduction in automotive catalytic converter catalysts, while meeting, or exceeding, government emission standards, Aether has ramped up testing prototypes, both at its new custom-built facility in Burnaby, British Columbia and with multinational OEMs and well-known third-party testing facilitators, it is now focusing on getting prototype catalysts vehicle-ready.

FULL DISCLOSURE: Aether Catalyst Solutions Inc. is a client of Stockhouse Publishing.
