Labrador Gold Corp. (TSX-V: LAB, OTCQX: NKOSF, Forum) announced on Wednesday that it had mobilized a drill and crew to its Kingsway Project near Gander Newfoundland. The Kingsway project is located within the highly prospective Gander Gold District along strike to the northeast of New Found Gold Corp’s (TSX-V: NFG) gold discovery announced earlier this year.

The Canadian based mineral exploration Company recently began a Controlled Source Audio Magnetotellurics (CSAMT) geophysical survey at its 77km 2 Kingsway Project. The scan is an electrical geophysical technique that measures resistivity in the subsurface down to depths in excess of 500 metres. The resistivity profiles can be used to target silicification associated with gold mineralization as well as deep structures such as the Appleton Fault Zone.

FULL DISCLOSURE: Labrador Gold Corp. is a client of Stockhouse Publishing.
