A lot of everyday people can now invest their money in stocks, but some important questions must first be asked before putting your hard-earned money in the stock market.

Before buying a stock, check out the above video and consider some important aspects about your financial situation. For example, knowing what your financial goals are and in what time frame you would like to achieve them are good places to start.

Some go-to questions to ask yourself before investing in stocks are:

  1. What type of business does the company partake in?
  2. Does it give back to investors and if so, how?
  3. How does it plan to grow in the short and long term?
  4. Is the company trending, or does it show long-term stability?
