company, today announced the departure of its Chief Financial Officer,
Rita Jairam.
"It is unfortunate that her recent promotion to the role of Chief
Financial Officer has not worked out and we wish Ms. Jairam all the
best in her future endeavours", said Brian Pedlar, Covalon's Chief
Executive Officer.
Mr. Pedlar will become the Company's interim Chief Financial Officer in
addition to his duties as President and Chief Executive Officer while
the Company searches for a replacement. Mr. Pedlar is a Canadian
Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Accountant (CA)
and has previously held the role of Chief Financial Officer of other
public companies listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and NASDAQ.
