GE Healthcare MARS Cardiac Event Station and MARS Event Station Lite to be the Private Label for Canadian GEMS Sales Through GE Healthcare.
Toronto, Canada - CardioComm Solutions, Inc. ( TSX-V:EKG) ("CardioComm Solutions" or the "Company"), a global medical provider of ECG acquisition and management software solutions is pleased to announce a private labelling agreement with GE Healthcare's Diagnostic Cardiology business. The agreement clears the regulatory path for CardioComm Solutions to private label their Global ECG Management System ("GEMS") for GE Healthcare under the GE Healthcare MARS Cardiac Event Station and MARS Event Station Lite for sale in Canada.
The agreement is complementary to an existing OEM agreement between the two companies and will permit GE Healthcare's MARS Event Station and MARS Event Station Lite software, provided by CardioComm Solutions, to be filed with the Therapeutic Products Directorate of Canada. The authorization will also permit GE Healthcare and Health Canada to cross-reference the Company's original GEMS medical device licence ("MDL") materials, licensed by Health Canada under Licence No. 36225, in support of the GE Healthcare MDL application. This authorization is valid until June 30th 2014.
