Huron Consulting Group (NASDAQ: HURN), a leading provider of business consulting services, today announced that Jim Agnew and Jeffrey McLaren have joined the Company as managing directors in its Huron Healthcare practice.

Agnew has more than 30 years of executive leadership and advisory services experience working within hospital operations. Agnew joins Huron Healthcare from Navigant Consulting where he served as a managing director in the healthcare practice. At Huron Healthcare, he will focus on strategy and advisory services. During his career, Agnew has assisted hospital leadership and governing boards engaged in mergers and acquisitions, post-merger and network integration, and growth strategies.

McLaren has more than 20 years of strategic sourcing, strategy, cost reduction and process improvement experience working with hospital, health system, and academic medical center clients. He rejoins Huron Healthcare from VHA Inc., where he served as senior vice president for national supply chain services. At Huron Healthcare, McLaren will assist clients in developing their future supply chain strategies and in reducing non-labor expenses including supplies, pharmaceuticals and purchased services.
