Morguard Wins 2013 Lipper Fund Awards for Best 3-year Risk Adjusted Real Estate Equity Fund

MISSISSAUGA, ON, Feb. 7, 2013 /CNW/ - Morguard Corporation (TSX: MRC) ("Morguard"), is pleased to announce that the CIBC Canadian Real Estate Fund, managed by its wholly-owned fund management company, Morguard Financial Corp., won a 2013 Thompson Reuters Lipper Award for the best 3-year risk-adjusted returns in the Canadian real estate equity category.

The CIBC Canadian Real Estate Fund's 3-year annualized return net of fees is 15.92% as at December 31, 2012.

Morguard has acted as sub-advisor to the CIBC Canadian Real Estate Fund since the Fund's inception in 1997. This year's award marks three back-to-back Lipper Awards for the Fund, highlighting Morguard Financial Corp's track record of delivering consistently strong risk-adjusted performance.
