McAfee All Access Receives PCMag Editors’ Choice for Second Consecutive Year

McAfee today announced that McAfee All Access, the industry’s premier integrated cross-device security product, has again won Editors’ Choice by PCMag. In its review, PCMag gave McAfee All Access 4.5 out of 5 stars and praised the product for providing impressively comprehensive protection for all of the devices that an individual or a household own.

“A single subscription to McAfee All Access 2013 gets you security protection for all of your devices, or for all of your household's devices,” cited PCMag editors. “From its online management console, you can easily extend protection to any of your PCs, Macs, smartphones, or tablets. If you've got a houseful of connected devices, this is the security solution for you.”

“As consumers use more devices, and as threats become more pervasive, cross-device security becomes even more essential,” said Steve Petracca, senior vice president and general manager for McAfee’s consumer business unit. “The recognition of McAfee All Access by PCMag helps underscore the importance and value of securing all of consumers’ devices and personal data whenever and wherever they connect.”

With the explosive growth of threats across all platforms and devices, McAfee All Access helps ensure always-connected consumers enjoy safe and secure online experiences by quickly and easily securing all of the PCs, Macs, smartphones and tablets a user owns. According to the McAfee Threats Report: Third Quarter 2012 traditional web threats, such as suspicious URLs, have increased by 20 percent quarter-over-quarter; mobile malware has nearly doubled; and Mac malware shows strong, continued growth.

McAfee All Access provides a Web-based dashboard that allows users to quickly and easily install and manage data and device security, protect their kids, and access free premium technical support. McAfee All Access was the first of its kind cross-device solution earning PCMag Editors’ Choice award just after its launch in 2011, and continues to serve as the cornerstone of McAfee’s relentless commitment to keeping consumers’ safe online.

McAfee All Access 2013 is available for purchase in the U.S. through selected retailers and online at www.mcafee.com for $99.99 US for an individual and $149.99 US for a household (prices are MSRP). Current McAfee All Access customers with active subscriptions will automatically receive the latest product updates. The price for both editions includes complimentary technical support for active subscriptions, which offers 24/7 McAfee security experts over phone, email and Internet chat.
