Washington Trust and RI Monthly Magazine announced today that
Raymond Cooney of Cranston is the March winner of I Luv Rhode Island’s
2013 photo contest. The theme of the March contest was “Only in Rhode
Island” and Cooney’s photograph depicted Betsey Williams’ cottage. The
photo has been published in the March 2013 issue of RI Monthly.

“My dad used to take me to the Park, and told me that Betsey
Williams was a descendent of Roger Williams. It was fun to go back there
as an adult,” said Cooney. “If you’re looking for something that is
Rhode Island and only Rhode Island, this is certainly it.”
