Turkcell (NYSE:TKC, ISE: TCELL), Turkey's leading communications and technology company Turkcell has announced a new initiative, the first Investor Relation Strategies and Implementation course, offered to students at Bahcesehir University CO-OP which aims to give valuable insights about the nature and importance of the business to leading corporate companies. This enables the students to realize the new business opportunities and gives way to prospective fields of search when it comes to employment.

Through the Investor Relations course, Turkcell has dedicated its profound employees to the development of new business areas which was not covered among the Turkish Universities. The students had a chance to explore basic principles and implementation of core strategies through a fourteen week program in the fall of 2012-2013.
Having been recognized as Turkey's front-runner company for best practice in investor relations and steadily awarded by the world's most prestigious institutions, the course examines the role of investor relations, its purpose within specific organizations, the appropriate financial regulations, brokerage and security considerations as well as the ethical considerations. The topics were supported with best practices implemented by Turkcell and the students learned how to successfully plan and manage an investor relations strategy.
