Apparel Producer Century Place Implements the Latest Version of NGC's Fashion ERP System

NGC® today announced that Century Place, an apparel company that produces and sells knit shirts, has upgraded to the latest version of NGC's fashion ERP system.

Century Place, which has been in business for 31 years, made the move to take advantage of the many new features in NGC's ERP, including flexible reporting, easy data drill-down, improved order entry and many other improvements. NGC’s versatile fashion ERP provides the flexibility to manage all types of companies, whether they manufacture or import, produce private label or branded merchandise, or sell to big box retailers or specialty stores. NGC's ERP includes a configurable EDI system, sophisticated financial accounting, flexible reporting features, and handles key business functions including Customer Order Processing, Purchasing, Manufacturing/Contractor Management, Inventory Control, Allocation, Distribution and Warehouse Management.

"The order entry and reporting alone have made our team's job so much easier," said Janice Huffman, ERP project manager at Century Place. "With the order entry, the system has everything on one screen, and we can easily communicate information on pick slips – for example, flagging orders that have to go out today, charging the customer's UPS account and other information that helps us improve customer services. The reporting is much easier and faster, too, and there are lots of useful new reports."

Huffman notes that the upgrade process went smoothly. "I've developed great relationships with NGC over the years, and the people are fantastic and wonderful to work with," she noted. "If I have a problem, they'll jump on it and get it fixed right away."

"It's especially gratifying when NGC Software can help longtime customers such as Century Place realize new benefits from our software," said Mark Burstein, president of sales, marketing and R&D, NGC. "We appreciate the close working relationship that we have developed, and we look forward to seeing Century Place continue to see strong results from our ERP system."
