TORONTO, March 18, 2013 /CNW/ - Retained executive search firm The
Caldwell Partners International Inc. (TSX: CWL) announced today that it
has named Chris Beck chief financial officer, reporting directly to CEO
John Wallace.
"With more than 20 years of experience in finance, 7 of which were spent
in the executive search industry, Chris' successful track record of
leading and managing financial and accounting operations will be of
enormous benefit to us," said John N. Wallace, chief executive officer.

Mr. Beck joins Caldwell Partners from BirdDog, a transportation services
company focused on providing solutions to both shippers and motor
carriers, where he served as chief financial officer. With more than
220 employees, BirdDog was named to the Inc. 5000 fastest growing
companies for five consecutive years as well as Deloitte's Technology
Fast 500 list for four of the last five years. Previously, he served as
chief financial officer at Highland Partners, a $60M division of the
public company Hudson Highland Group.
Prior to Highland Partners, Mr. Beck held various roles culminating in
chief financial officer at Alper Ink Group, a $170M private equity
funded company where he participated in their acquisition activity,
closing seven acquisitions in a four year time span.
Mr. Beck is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and started his finance
and accounting career with Deloitte in New York. He is a graduate of
the University of California, Santa Barbara.
