Universities Australia Extends Partnership with Thomson Reuters to Provide Access to Critical Scientific and Scholarly Information
Universities mark 10th anniversary of partnership for Web of Science data
SYDNEY, 19 March 2013 - The Intellectual Property & Science business of Thomson Reuters, the world's leading provider of intelligent information for businesses and professionals, today announced that Universities Australia has renewed the purchasing agreement that allows 36 members access to the Thomson Reuters Web of Science database for three additional years. This ensures that researchers have access to high quality scientific literature. This renewal marks the 10th year of the partnership with Thomson Reuters.

In addition to extending access to Web of Science, Universities Australia renewed members' access to Journal Citation Reports, to measure research influence and impact at the journal and category levels, as well as initiated access to Book Citation Index, an additional database within Web of Science.
Web of Science is a Web of Knowledge database that offers a true cited reference index, which is the best tool for discovery and the only method for retrieving accurate citation counts.
